(SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors own another long winning streak and will put it to the test Wednesday night when the Miami Heat stop by Oracle Arena. The Warriors have won seven in a row and remain first in the NBA at 30-5, although, the Portland Trail Blazers and Atlanta Hawks are just 1 1/2 games behind in the standings. Golden State won 16 straight earlier this season. This streak has a ways to go before it threatens that number, but the Warriors are 16-1 at home and havent lost at Oracle since Nov. 11 against the San Antonio Spurs. That home winning streak is at 14 in a row and counting. The Warriors won their seventh in a row on Tuesday night with a 116-105 victory over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. Theyve scored 100-plus points during this seven-game run. Stephen Curry had 15 of his 27 points in the third quarter to lead the Warriors. Curry also had 11 assists. Hes found the perfect balance between attacking and pulling it out, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of Curry. Draymond Green posted 15 points and both Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes added 12 for the Warriors. Marreese Speights and David Lee scored 10 each off the bench. Golden State shot 50.5 percent from the field, but 52 percent from long range. The Warriors committed 10 turnovers to 17 from the Jazz. The Heat have won two straight on this five-game road trip, which ends Friday night in Sacramento. After an opening loss in Portland, the Heat swept the LA teams on Sunday and Tuesday. The Heats victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday was far from pristine. Miami prevailed, 78-75, and the 75 from the Lakers was a season-low for a Heat opponent. Mario Chalmers scored 19 points with eight assists to help the Heat to victory. Hassan Whiteside continued his strong play with 15 points, nine rebounds and five blocks for Miami, while Chris Andersen supplied 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in the win. I feel good, Whiteside said. I come out with some motivation. Im happy just to be here. We did a really good job on defense. We were aggressive. Dwyane Wade scored four points with five rebounds and five assists in the first half for the Heat before exiting in the second quarter with a strained left hamstring. He did not return. Chris Bosh went 4-of-17 shooting and finished with eight points. The Warriors beat the Heat in South Beach on Nov. 25 and have taken four of the last six meetings.
